The latest release from UB40. Cover Up was released on the 22nd November
2001. The album contains new material and contains a mixture of
"Roots" reggae and up to date dance style music. The first
single off the album "Since I Met You Lady" was released on the
8th October. Featuring Jamaica's top female reggae artist Lady Saw, the
single only reached No 40 in the UK singles chart due to the distinct lack
of airplay by the UK's leading radio stations (you know who you are). The
next single, "Cover Up" is scheduled for release later in 2001.
The single was commissioned by the United Nations to highlight to the
world that the AIDS virus is still with us and continues to kill hundreds
of thousands each year, so COVER UP!A big thank you goes to Jolan for taking the time to transcribe all the lyrics to this album, they have been provided for your enjoyment. Remember "Cover Up!"
